Introduction
In 2012 Mars Inc., the global confectionary manufacturing company started to promote the use of Scrum internally as the approach of choice on projects.
However, it soon became apparent that adopting agile approaches could benefit projects across the organisation – not just IT projects. However, due to lack of defined governance, Scrum in isolation did not satisfy its needs.
Working with agileKRC, Mars adopted a more holistic approach to agile project management, to benefit numerous projects across the organisation.
