This is an accredited course launched in 2015 by APMG and the DSDM Consortium to address the needs of business analysts working in an agile environment. This training course provides an overview of the DSDM framework coupled with guidance on how to use both agile and traditional business analysis techniques within the framework. The course includes an examination that enables delegates to become certified in Agile Business Analysis at Foundation level.
The course provides a general overview of all things agile. It covers the fundamentals of working in an agile way and also explains how to get the most from agile when using it to manage projects. It covers the risks and benefits of agile and looks at some of the key concepts and techniques used. Several agile methods are covered such as Scrum, DSDM, SAFe, Lean and Kanban.
This course covers the newly launched certification by APMG and the DSDM Consortium that has been created to sit alongside PRINCE2 as an approach to project management. The course is equally divided between the theory of the new wave of agile project management and the practical experience of the techniques and disciplines involved. Delegates will receive a copy of the Agile Project Management handbook and will sit the Foundation and Practitioner exams during the course.
Certified Lean Kanban Foundation is a highly interactive two-day course accredited by the Lean-Kanban University (LKU) and provides robust in-depth training in Kanban principles and practices. This includes a fully immersive Kanban simulation of how Lean Kanban helps individuals, teams and organisations to balance the workload, visualize work and improve the delivery of high-quality products.
Successful scaling of Agile beyond the single team is one of the most important challenges faced by many organisations. Core Scrum provides no guidance on how to do this, and unofficial techniques such as Scrum-of-Scrums go only some way to providing an answer and are not widely understood.
During this Scrum Product Owner course you will learn how to apply the Scrum framework to improve product delivery. The course will incorporate aspects of other Agile and Lean methods on order to maximise value and quality. Also covered is how to prioritise, estimate and schedule features and their delivery as well as determining if delivery is on track and identifying if adaptive actions need to be taken.
The DSDM training course covers the theory and rationale behind the DSDM framework. Throughout the course all areas of DSDM are explained and insights are given into how they work in practice. A particular emphasis is placed on the techniques used by DSDM. Delegates receive a DSDM Pocketbook.
In recent years the importance of facilitation has grown steadily. This course provides a combination of practical experienced based learning with in-depth analysis of the building blocks of facilitation. All delegates receive a pocketbook full of tips and techniques.
This course covers the new qualification from AXELOS which represents an extension to PRINCE2®. The course is equally divided between practical exercises and theory as it ex- amines how to use PRINCE2 in an agile context. The course ends with an exam that allows you to achieve PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner status.
